Shouldn't have been awarded in the first place, but it was a pretty sweet move. There's a reason he's one of the best.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

So, it's alright for St. Louis to diss Omark for his spin move, but when it's Stammer, it's alright, eh?

Was a nice goal.. was there any kind of issue though about the forward motion whenever he made the spin? I'm not sure of the exact rule, but I thought there was something about continuous forward motion whenever a guy takes a penalty shot?
Although after watching again, he doesn't necessarily go backwards until after he lets the puck go.

I was hearing it all over the radio after the Omark goal on Ellis the following day. St. Louis was whining and complaining and saying it was disrespectful of a rookie to do the spin-o-rama. The Stammer goal was in-your-face, while the Omark goal was way out around the blueline which makes it even more ironic - I guess.

I also wondered about the 'continuous forward motion' thing, but it's not the first time I've seen an amazing penalty shot that contained a moment of the puck going backwards!

I know that Carey was shaking his head and looking at the refs after the play was over - he might be of the same view.

You cannot compare the two moves lol, Stamkos did a spin almost in the crease to score. Omark did his the second he got the puck around the blue line, and it had little to nothing to do with his move. I still think Omark is a moron for it. Stamko's however was just a nice move.
