    More Platinum craziness

My wife picked me up two packs of Bowman Platinum and a rack pack of Bowman Draft at Target. Nothing too substantial in the draft (one refractor), but snagged a Miguel Sano auto out of one of the two packs.
Crazy. My second Sano out of a retail product (got one in a Wal-Mart rack pack last week).
I don't think I've ever seen so many hits in retail products. I was going to buy a hobby box, but what's the point? I've pulled two $50 autos out of $15 of retail.

I've purchased around 6 rack packs and 1 blaster and haven't pulled any autos. I did pull one from my first and only hobby platinum pack though. I guess my luck hasn't been too good on the retail considering how many people seem to be getting autos out of their blasters.

You know what, Don? I broke two blasters and got no autos. Then, I got the rack pack and these loose packs and hit two autos. Bizarre.

The retail run of this stuff has been loaded. I pulled a Jesus Montero auto redemption from my first rack pack. Nothing since in 3 other rack packs but every pack isn't a winner. I'm thinking of picking up a hobby box today when I go to the LCS.

Mice Montero, Mike. I've been really surprised with the stuff coming out of retail. I was going to get a hobby box, but figured I can't do that much better (aside from hitting a sick booklet). Good luck if you get one, though. Let us know what you get.

I ended up getting that Platinum hobby box. The box loader is a "bonus autograph refractor" (that should be interesting). The hits are:

    Jose Bautista GU/auto #'d 456/700
    Jordan Henry refractor auto (Indians)
Aroldis Chapman green refractor auto #'d 34/199

There are also some other refractors but they're still in the box. I'm going to list them on the thread I start for the break.
