UFC 125 (Disappointed)
Hey guys,
Im so mad about the main event. Judges are the worst when it comes to making decisions. How are you going to rule a championship fight a draw. Im a huge Maynard fan but I would rather see Edgar win then a draw. Hopefully Maynard gets another shot at the title or he gets the winner of Edgar vs Pettis but I think Maynard should get a shot before Pettis. A draw was not expected and should not happen in any occasion, especially a title fight. I was impressed by both Edgar and Maynard but really if your a judge you rule a winner and not a draw. LMK what you guys think.

i agree, i think we need to see Edger vs. Maynard 3 before Edgar fights Pettis, you could tell at the end of the fight that neither of the guys were happy and im sure they both want to fight again. the way things have been going in the UFC im sure Dana White will set up #3 before they fight anyone else

I didnt expect much tho from that fight or card so, cant really say i am dissapointed......

Agree with you 100%. Everyone where I was watching the fight was so mad because of the decision. Hopefully it Maynard vs Edgar is announced and soon.

I expected a lot from the Maynard vs Edgar fight. Other fights were fun to watch, I thought most were going to be boring.

We will talk when Pettis finds out who he is fighting. I think Pettis is a great fighter but Im not worried about him until a clear winner/champ is crowned. Draws dont count as a win or free pass that is why they should have a Maynard vs Edgar 3. The kick was the best thing I have seen in MMA but he better come up with something new because people are going to know what to do when that is coming. Henderson did not know what was coming and had his defense down, but if Pettis comes up with a new move like that no question he will possibly win. But I don't think Pettis can compete with Maynard or Edgars takedowns. To tell you the truth Edgar was a beast at taking down and take down defense, to stop Maynard at take downs and to take him down is really hard.

Maynard should have won the fight... How does one judge rule it 48-46 for Edgar?
That means they ruled that Edgar won all 4 rounds except the 1st won which was an obvious 10-8 win. They would of had to rule Edgar won 10-9 the next 4 rounds.

Im just being a homer...I grew up with his uncle Greg and new his father , JR., so Anthony " Showtime " Pettis...will always be my fave MMA fighter !!

It makes no sense but Im not so mad that one judge gave it to Edgar, Its bound to happen. Im just ™™™™™™ that a judge ruled it 47-47. I thought it was a great fight but it needed a winner and not end in a draw. Im a hardcore Maynard fan but I can say I would rather see him have lost that fight than a draw. In my opinion Maynard should have won they fight but what can you do with these judges and referee's now days. That ref would not stop the fight, I think he wanted someone to get seriously hurt because even in the Leben fight he didn't stop it until Leben got knocked for like the 4th time.
