Question:2004 UD Foundations Exclusive Rainbow?
Does anyone know the deal on these? I have gotten 4 2004 Upper Deck Foundations cards that say in silver/rainbow foil "Exclusive Rainbow" on them (McNabb, Duckett, Justin Jenkins & Ben Watson) and they are all numbered out of 100.
In Beckett pricing it lists the "exclusive gold" pricing, and says they are numbered out of 100...then it also mentions an "Exclusive Rainbow Silver" parralel set but says that they are numbered out of 10 and not priced due to scarcity.
What is the deal on these cards? I have pulled "Exclusive Gold" cards too, and they are numbered out of 100 also. What are these Exclusive Rainbow cards that I pulled?
NOTE:the 4 aforementioned cards were obtained via Retail packs, so I'm guessing that there is maybe just a print run difference between the retail and hobby packs? But Beckett should notate that...I don't know. Anyone?

It may just be a printing error in Beckett. I've seen it before where something was #/250 and Beckett would print it as #/25. But then again, UD could have made a mistake too and numbered them to 100 instead of 10. I mean, there have been multiple copies of 1/1s out there before.
More likely than not it's a Beckett error and they didn't denote that the Rainbow were only available in Retail packs and that they were #/100.

Exclusive Foundation regular Rainbow Silver, numbered to 100

That's all I can find about it. I'd assume they're worth the same as the Exclusive Gold set, maybe that's why Beckett isn't listing them.

It's a Beckett error - I had the same problem when I pulled an "Exclusive Rainbow" Mewelde Moore RC, and had to do some research. Apparently, there's a difference between "Rainbow" (Hobby only - #'d to /10, and just says "Exclusive" on the front), and "Exclusive Rainbow" (Retail only - #'d to /100, and says "Exclusive Rainbow" on the front).

I like your Ernest Wilford Foundations Auto...not sure what the BV would be on my Watson though...the Exclusive Gold version/100 is $12.......if you would like to add something else to it and make a more even trade here is a lnk to my tradelist.
