    It's always fun watching vintage breaks. Too bad no Mantle, but I bet it was still a blast and a rush to open those old cards

    Man that was a nice pack break how much that set ya back to open and also here somethings since I didnt have the sound on about some of the players

    Sal Magile-Nicknamed the Barber great NY Giants Pitcher
    Dick Williams-HoF Manager
    Norm Seibrern-Was traded for Roger Maris
    Jimmy Piersall-Ran Backwards after hitting his 100th career HR and was the subject of the 'Fear Strikes Out'
    Steve Boros-Just recently passed away and was a Manager for the A's and Padres

    great pack again

    It was just over $400.00 for the pack. It was pretty steep.
    Thanks for the info on the players!!!!! Very interesting.
    I checked the players out to see who was still alive and what not and I think it was Boros, who passed away 2 days before we opened this pack.

    One of my past (retired) military supervisors from the mid 1990s was a good friend of Sal Maglie's son. They grew up together and were childhood friends. From what I understand, the son didn't have a close relationship with Sal because of all the traveling due to baseball. Needless to say, I remember picking up 1950's Sal Maglie cards for my supervisor when I could find them so he could give them to his friend as a gift since he had none of his dad's cards.
