Anyone heard of this website: DHgate.com Is this a legit website? Are these legit jersey's? Looks like a good price, are they authentic? I maybe interested in getting a jersey. What do you think?

I looked at their contact info. to give them a call to find out if they are really authentic jerseys. I see their address is: they are located in China. Should I be worried? I really am looking to get a jersey and have Rob Schremp sign it for me.

It comes down a choice between saving a few bucks and having the real deal. Mrs. RGM81 got me a Cammalleri Habs jersey from NHL.com on one of their free customization days and it is my favourite Xmas gift. I will always be an advocate of the philosophy that you get way you pay for when it comes to sporting goods, and that includes hockey jerseys. They look better, they feel better, they're more durable, and you're not funding shady type folks that look to make profits off the hard work of your hockey heroes without paying royalties for it.

Exactly! When it comes to a jersey you will wear and cherish, the extra $$$ is worth it if you ask me. I LOVE my Roy vintage jersey and yeah it was expensive but it's one of my favorite items in my collection (that might be cos he signed it himself though lol)

I lived in Asia for 2 1/2 years. Everything there is Counterfeit. Now that China has emerged as the #1 manufacturer of just about everything except vehicles, it has a penchant for copying high-end NA designed or European designed clothing.

Don't buy anything where the address is from China. I occasionally sell High Altitude and Xtreme Clothing (and I don't mean skateboard shorts).

In the last 3 years I have reported 7 sellers from China selling Counterfeit Arc'Teryx, Mammut, North Face and Marmot clothing on eBay. All the companies were shut down within 3 days.

Any clothing from China will have exacting paper labels, nice crisp look, but when you get the merchandise, it will appear flimsy and cheap. Upon first washing it will fade, lose texture. By washing #3, the garment will be in tatters.

The Chinese made Xtreme clothing is super easy to spot on an auction site because it will contain a generic description of something that the company does not make. The auction will start at $19.00 when the Real item has a SRP of anywhere from $175.00 to $600.00.

Avoid, Avoid, Avoid.

When you see prices that low, you know there is something off in regards to them. They're counterfeit, not legit.

I won't talk about how 'wrong' it is to buy that stuff - I'll admit right now, I have purchased similar stuff, from similar websites before (and, in fact, VERY recently).

What these jerseys are good for, is throw away stuff. You want something cheap you're going to use a couple of times, and then probably never wear again.

Case & Point - I'm going to a Columbus vs Edmonton game (in Columbus) in February. I've got 4 friends going with me. I own 3 Oilers jerseys, but I bought a couple of these knock offs to give to people to wear. Got a Hall & and Eberle.

From 5 feet away, you can't tell the difference. Up close, it's easy to notice they're not quite right. On top of that, they're not cut correctly. I wear 2XL for almost anything. Any hockey jersey I own is a 2XL (size 54). That size fits me great.... and would be a baggy on the friends I was going to let use them.

Got the jerseys in the mail, and I can safely say that unless I lose about 60 lbs, I'll never wear them. Even then.... based on how small they were at the shoulders, chest, and neck.... I'm not sure that 100 lbs off my frame would let me put them on.

The product looks good, but is pretty sub-standard. It's cheap for a reason. You won't have any problem though with customer service. I got the Jerseys in the mail (from China) quicker than many eBay purchases from the USA would take.

Thanks, I decided against it. I have 1 Rob Schremp light blue jersey authentic bought from the Islander website. My step dad has 2 of the Rob Schremp authentic jerseys dark blue. I am going to try to get 1 from him.

off topic i know, but his Schremp's catch, drop and stick swing was one of the sickest goal I have seen.

i have also purchased China jersey's. to me, i can get two for one official one. one thing that does bother me is they must be packed wicked tight. they have creases down the arms, where authentics don't.

How many times have you laundered them? They disintegrate after a few washings. My kid is 10, and Adult Large would probably be too small for him as the sizing is 3 sizes lower at best in anything from China.
