Patch or GU question
I have been collecting a few years, but i still am uncertain as to what the difference is between a patch and a GU. I have a vince carter gu card that has stitching across a solid purple piece of material. Is this considered a patch? anyones opinions or knowledge would be appreciated. I hope this isnt a dumb question. thanks BILLY

I'll see if I can give a few examples of a patch and a jersey card! Usually a patch card will contian a multi color jersey piece or a piece of the nameplate or number of the jersey. A jersey card is just a one color piece of the rest of the jersey.
Some patch cards

a patch card is basically what bl said. a patch is a thicker part of the jersey such as part of there # or name. that is thicker. jersey is just the flat part of it real thin. hope that helps, matt.
