Brandon Jennings, coming off a foot injury, to compete in a dunk contest? He never struck me as a "Human Highlight Reel" to begin with.

Whatever happened to some of the big name guys participating, like back in the day when Vince Carter would do it? Serge Ibaka and Javale McGee are hardly going to draw a lot of excitement.

It's now the "Rising Stars" Dunk Contest, so it's more for rookies to get exposure. I will agree though, it's not how it used to be. I remember watching guys like Isiah Rider and even Harold Minor do some great stuff in it.

It also started to get less interesting when they started inviting just four participants each time. If a few of the guys suck, then it's just so much easier for the contest to be one-sided, and we have less of a chance to see some surprising creativity.

Anyway, I'm glad they have Blake this year at least. If he can come up with anything like some of the stuff he does in-game, it'll be a better contest than it was last year when there was only one exciting dunk IMO (DeRozan's).

Griffin all the way! I love how he pulls of an amazing slam and then runs to the other side of the court like nothing happened. Hilarious!

Excited to see Griffin and McGee!
No idea if Jennings will actually participate and Ibaka just seems like a throw in for OKC/Durant fans.

Except for the fact that Serge Ibaka is an Incredible dunker!!! Russell Westbrook was invited to participate, and passed up the oppurtunity, stating that Ibaka was the best dunk artist on the team.

    Wow, well...
I don't have season tickets like you do so you're probably the better judge.
In the few games I've seen aired everything from him seems to be a two footed/two handed putback, nothing off 1 leg or very acrobatic.
The dunk contest will be a great showcase if he indeed does have skills.
