    charlie manuel- Real or Fake?

I sent to him via the phillies in july, just got this back today. They didn't send this in my SASE, they provided their own envelope.

In the past everything I have gotten in a phillies envelope from them has been PP, but this looks legit. Thoughts? Looks too messy to be autopen, but it's possible I guess...

For what it's worth, in the letter back he said "please accept the AUTOGRAPHED photo card." In the past, when I got back from Halladay and an autopen from yount they said please accept this "PERSONALIZED" photo card. I think this might be real.

    That was my first thought.

If I recall correctly, most of the other Phillies players cards were Pre-Prints rather than an autopen. They were nice and neet and were always "signed" in black. From the scan, that looks like a blue marker or pen. Also, I saw that Jamie Moyer had his own card/postcard thing like this, but he personally signed them himself vs his teammates pre-prints.

Final take: I think it is real. He may have a stack of these already autographed and in envelopes waiting to be addressed once a request is received.
