If someone can explain to me how this isn't yet another cap circumvention, that would be appreciated.

Someone thinks that this is an extension of a release, and since its sold as a set (with bonuses included) and not packs..... then its okay?

I'm just trying to make a guess :)

Question though - Do I recall correctly that in last year's release..... the Update set did not have as many parallels as the regular issue?

Each Company has to produce 2 box sets under the current agreement is what I have been told.

Just one parallel for the Update set last year. Rainbow I believe it was and there were 5 cards added per box that could also include a jersey card in some. The Case chase was a full set of the Rainbow.

Man, I loved last year's set. Got the all-rainbow pack with 2 jerseys...one of them being the Duchene/Tavares/JVR.Sold that one for plenty :)

I got a Tyler Myers RC Gold out of my 5 rainbow cards from last year. Sold it for $20 bucks, paid for my update set pretty much. Box set extra's can always fetch a quick buck.

Since nobody wanted it. They already had all the rookies in the original set so it was ultimately redundant.
