Jamie Langenbrunner on the Move?
http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=548638
Devils captain Jamie Langenbrunner was not at Prudential Center Thursday night to take part in New Jersey's 4-2 loss to Philadelphia. He reportedly was waiting at home for a call from GM Lou Lamoriello telling him where and for whom he'd play his next game.
Langenbrunner, who has been with the Devils since March 2002 and their captain for the last six-plus years, told the team's beat writers from The Record and Newark Star-Ledger that he has been in discussion with the team about waiving his no-trade clause so he could be dealt.
He's in the final season of a five-year contract that included a full no-trade clause. He can become an unrestricted free agent on July 1.
"The fact that I'm not there tonight probably means a trade will be happening sooner rather than later," Langenbrunner, the Devils captain since Dec. 5, 2005, said prior to the game, according to the Star-Ledger. "I'm in limbo waiting."
It appears he'll have to wait a little while longer because there was no word from the Devils regarding a trade following Thursday night's loss.
"The only thing I know is before the game Lou (Lamoriello) told me Jamie won't be playing," Devils coach Jacques Lemaire said of the trade rumors. "That's all I know. Then I put another guy on the line."
I'd love to see this guy in a Habs jersey.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Been searching all morning for a hi-def photo but had to settle with the rip of the video feed. There's a cool story behind the pose too.
Love yours too.
Stars may just be loading up for a run this spring. They're looking really good of late.

Well, Carey's postgame interview revealed that he'd been talking about it with a friend for a while but obviously hasn't yet had the opportunity. That friend is none other than Wess, and he is absolutely beaming on the Facebook over it.
