I would honestly expect their cards to see a major decrease in value at first... with the higher end cards going up in the long run and mid stuff going up slightly in the long run, while lower end cards will either decrease to nothing or become worth very little. It really depends who acquires their assets.

sounds like the managment did suck. it wasnt the fleer of the older days by a long shot, just the name on the cards was the same.

Never gonna happen. UD could run their sports card business until the end of the world, just from their profits of Yu-Gi-Oh and Vs. System.

Kinda saddens me about Fleer, their E-XL set was my favorite NBA set this year.

So basically we're all screwed on redemptions? You'd think they'd address that problem quickly since they now have left themselves open for a ton of lawsuits. Imagine that guy in the beckett who pulled the Genuine Brett Favre 1/1 auto/patch...i'm sure he's a lil pissed right about now ><

I may have to rethink buying older boxes of fleer in fear that I may pull a redemption. How long was fleer in business? 15, 20, 25 years? Not sure when the first set came out.

Fleer had a 1959 Ted Williams set, and 1960, 1961, & 163 sets. Then they didn't make another regular baseball set until 1981.

Just got 2 of my redemptions back today, a Mcgrady auto/50 and a P Rivers auto- Have a feeling I'm gonna get screwed on my Ben Gordon duel jersey/auto /30, which really sucks.

If someone buys them, as a gesture of good faith, I would guess everyone would get their redemptions.
