2010-2011 Panini Timeless Treasures NBA
2010-2011 Panini Timeless Treasures NBA
Per Box Items:
MSRP $85 Per box/pack
5 cards per box/pack
3 Autographed or GU per box/pack
The standard sized base cards have a full-color action shot of the player superimposed onto a white background. Bordered on the bottom and sides, the set logo/name, player name and team are all centered on the bottom. The card backs are photo-less. The reverse of the cards does list basic biographical information, last season and career statistics, and moderate career highlights. Every card in the base set is serial numbered.
What I pulled:
6 unique cards (did I get an extra one?)
2 base cards #/399 = 2/100 = 2% of the base set
1 single GU #/99
1 dual GU #/99
1 RC auto #/299
1 "Timeless Signatures" auto #/10
Base card front and back:

The Hits:
Lamar Odom GU #/99
Davis/Patterson Dual GU #/99
Wesley Johnson Auto #/299
Bill Russell Auto #/10

Have you ever heard the phrase "good things come in small packages?" Well when you get a tin with Kobe Bryant on it, you kind of expect "good things." 2010-2011 Timeless Treasures NBA is another high-end that can deliver a slam-dunk. Probably the most visually interesting card is the RC auto. The auto is on a piece of leather. It would have been cool to be on a piece of ball, but this is still a good looking card. The Russell auto is a sticker auto, but who cards? It is a Russell auto serially numbered out of 10! Another huge plus is that every card, including the base cards are numbered. Graphically, the base cards look a little bland to me with to much white. The hits do provide a nice balance of color though. As with all high-end products the base set will be VERY difficult to complete. There are also silver, gold and platinum versions and serial numbering of the base cards to chase.
The Bottom Line:
I give 2010 Panini Timeless Treasures a buy rating. On the lower end of the high-end range, but still possible to be a bust and not be able to flip your cards for profit.
The Final Score:
