Wolski Traded to Rangers for Rozsival
The Phoenix Coyotes have traded forward Wojtek Wolski to the New York Rangers in exchange for veteran defenceman Michal Rozsival.
Rozsival, 32, has registered three goals and 12 assists, along with 22 penalty minutes in 32 games this season. He has 60 goals and 181 assists in 669 career regular season games over 10 seasons with the Rangers and Penguins.

I don't know a whole lot about Rozsival, but from what I've seen in the past, I think this is a decent trade for Phoenix. It's too bad Wolski isn't have a great year.
I am also glad that there have a been 2 or 3 trades in the past week.

strange trade if you ask me. Wolski has a lot of potential but this year has not been great for him. I guess the Rangers will bring back del zotto from the minors??

I follow Rangers closely and watch alot of their matches and I would say that this is a steal for Rangers. The only problem I can see from this trade is that Rozsival was one of the few that brought experience in the D game. But Wolski has potential I could be a good offensive player. The Sad thing is that the norwegian rookie Zuccarello, could suffer from this trade, because Wolski is offensive player that could take his place on the team, and Callahan returns soons from IR and then I think Zuccarello could be sent down again. To bad.

Just read this on NHL.com. I'm pretty excited to see Wolski in a Blueshirt. One of my favorite players in the NHL now plays for my favorite team.
I think its a great deal for both teams. Phoenix gets a good 3rd/4th defenceman, and the Rangers get a cheap LW. As much as I liked Frolov, he just wasn't playing good at all this season, and was looking at his worst carrer season, but I'll miss the hard work he puts in the corners, can't replace that.. Zuccarello will end up going back to the minors for sure after Callahan and Christensen get healthy, but he'll get great experence with playing the next few weeks with the big club.
Hopefully Wolski will hit his full potental in New York, I think he'll fit in on a line with Gaborik or Anisimov.

I think Wolski will do good in New York
I thought Frolov would do better but he does get lazy streaks....not so much pointless streaks...but looooong lazy streaks....but one thing I do like someone else noticed///he does work the puck well in the corners......

I think NY did well on this deal, but I also think Phoenix was looking for a particular role player and Wolski is just the price they had to give up. I hope Wolski does well with the Rangers. He's a great player when he's hitting all cylinders on a team he fits into. I was stunned that Colorado let him go to the Yotes in the first place.
