The card companies lead you to believe these are official Season Games, you dont expect a Pre Season or a Practice Jersey on these cards, but Yea He did play in the Pre-Season Games.

Preseason games are official NBA games, and the uniforms used are the same as those used throughout regular season.Last edited by MeloJrsyCllctr; 01-12-2011 at 03:50 PM.

I would rather have a Regular season Jersey, Just like I would rather have a Finals Jersey over Regular season though.
But all in all maybe the same ...

I have indeed had doubts that game-used materials are even worn by the players on the front of the card. If they indeed are, it should be marketed/claimed aggressively as a feature, not left in a doubt-filled grey area.
Last year my bro actually called Panini to verify that the Timeless Treasures MVP year, rookie year, and championship season materials cards were actually from those actual years and players, as advertised by Panini, but the back of the cards only actually say 'The enclosed game-worn material is guaranteed by Panini America Inc.'. Guaranteed to be what? They should be more clear, as rookie year materials is a huge plus/feature/attraction for older players, etc.

The LaMarcus Aldridge was probably from Green Week or Christmas unless it is a mistake.
I find this to be a interesting article:

I am pretty sure it is a Mistake because all of the Others are White ALdridge, and It is Identical MAterial to the Durant, which is even unique because it is Spongy type and pretty thick

Pretty sure it's a mistake too because quality control wasn't exactly on the top of Upper Deck's mind for all of their 09-10 products.

its more then likely a quality control issue and not upper deck being shady in your specific case.

Nowadays they are more like 'player worn' jerseys and not necessary 'game worn' anymore. May be these companies send the jerseys to the players, and they wear it at home for two minutes and woalla... a player worn jersey!
I've moved on to collecting autographs... but again who knows if they were actually signed by the players???

Oh and this card is probably a manufacturer's error which is prone to happen at Upper Deck. I have a 1998 Upper Deck David Ribinson game jersey in purple which is impossible. David only wore silver and black throughout his career. Some even said it must have been a Kobe Bryant jersey. Oh well...
