The old joke from the 50's is Centre Hice Quebecois often pronounce Ice with an "H" on the front, hence the joke and story.

Teacher back in grade school once called me a big lummox for knocking over something (I did all my growing by 12 yrs old and was twice the size of most kids then). The nickname stuck and I became lummox from then on. The "o" just became a zero for some reason.

Back when I first joined SCF my favorite player was Blues first round pick Marek Schwarz. The 33 came from my hockey jersey number, which I wear in honor of Patrick Roy.

My first boss used the word Lummox very frequently. Anytime he suspected somebody of being uncoordinated, he used the adjective, he used it effortlessly if you were Big and Fat, but of course not to your face.
