Hobby boxes...?

I am considering buying a Hobby Box of something I have glanced at what is out there and saw these in NBA:

2010-11 Donruss (thought this was cool Donruss Basketball cards) Saw them on Ebay for like 56.00 Shipped you get like 3- GU/Autos per box. Cards were cool.

2010-11 Ultimate Collection - Upper Deck, I dont know alot about this product, But I know I love Upper Deck and most of what they put out, even though it is not NBA, there are some great Autos, and of course MJ/Lebron gear.

2009-10 Upper Go back to what I have been buying if price is right, but I am kind of tired of this set, I have Just about Everything already, Just wouldnt mind buying another great upper deck product why they are around.

Any Other Suggesttions? Where I could GET THE BEST BANG FOR MY BUCK!?

NEW or OLD I SUPPOSE, Any GREAT Deal, I will consider to buy. know of any sales or Clearance on anything or something?

BTW I cannot Find the Ultimate Collections anywhere for sale, What is up with that?

Not at Wal MArt, Not on Ebay, Notthing on UD.com, No Local Hobby Shops, I Just dont see them.
Where are they and there prices?

You can get the Ultimate Collection at Blowoutcards.com for about $64. I wouldn't buy that though because you never make your money back and it isn't a very good product.

I really like 2010 Prestige. I have bought 2 boxes of it and I hit a John Wall auto every time. It is a pretty good price and you get 5 hits (normally). Or if you want an UpperDeck product I really like 07 Artifacts.

07 Artifacts hmmm... what can I expect from that and How much?
Any Possible Good Durants? I do like Upper Deck Better, but 5 hits out of prestige sounds nice. what is expected from a box of artifacts?
What are the prices on those, I didnt think the 07 artifacts would still be around at a decent price.

I just looked at this on Artifacts:

"10 packs 4 cards per pack

One autographed card, Memorabilia card or numbered card in every pack! 100 card base set with rookies #ed to 1299 and 699. Legendary Legacies #ed to 999. Parallels of each include Gold #ed to 100, Red #ed to 50, Blue #ed to 25, Silver #ed to 10 and Gold Spectrum 1 of 1. Look for Neck emblem and Triple Artifacts memorabilia. Divisional artifacts memorabilia has same parallel numbering as above with patch versions #ed to 35, 5 and 1."


Is that correct one Auto/GU/or Numbered per pack, So I would pretty much get 10 Hits for 58 bucks?
10 packs and 4 cards per pack. If you consider a #d card a hit.

Yea you get a gu/auto/#ed per pack and you also get a box topper which usually includes a Durant rookie or a roookie from the top players of 07. The autos are very hit or miss but you can hit a MJ or Durant auto. The gu always seem good and the #ed are usually of legends and some are really low numbered. You can also get some very nice patches in there too. It is one of my favorite products.

That may be the best bet, I like the Idea of something good in every pack.
The autos were nice from that series from what I remember, but you are right They were DEF hit or Miss, Lots of Lower end Guys.

panini updte is cheap and really fun to open, donruss is alright also if you can find it cheap
