I have seen the Swede be the #1 pick in multiple drafts, but you never know until they arrive at the podium

I'd take Larsson with the first overall pick and not think twice. He has the look of a once or twice in a generation defenseman.

As a Devils fan, I would prefer Larsson or Landeskog. NJ needs to bolster its defense so Larsson should be top priority. However, if they go with a scorer, I'd prefer they go with someone flexible enough to play Center or Forward.

Going to watch Couturier play tonight , as I see him an Isles jersey next year.

I think the top 3 are all pretty certain.... just the order will float around. I'll be happy if Edmonton gets any of those three guys.
The one I question in this mock-draft though, is Ryan Murphy. If he really falls below 10th, it's gonna be Cam Fowler all over again.

I just looked at the 2010 draft. Courtier would have gone no higher than 9th last year, and if the Rangers hadn't wasted the 10th overall pick on McIlrath (not a bad player, but a waste at 10) he may have fallen between 16-18.
This looks to be a craptacular draft.
