Sidney Crosby Still Out With Concussion, Upset About Hits.
By Bruce Ciskie
Pittsburgh Penguins star forward Sidney Crosby will miss his third straight game Monday night, as the Penguins host Eastern Conference rival Boston. Crosby has a concussion that caused him to miss Thursday's 2-1 shootout loss at Montreal, as well as a 4-0 home loss to Minnesota Saturday.
NHL protocol states Crosby can not play again until he is symptom-free and able to skate without any recurrence of symptoms.

Stop whining Crosby, you wouldn't say a word if it wasn't you who had gotten hit.
l collect Philadelphia Eagles (NO VICK CARDS), Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Phillies, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers.

So you are condoning the hits tot the head are you?
I have seen and heard crosby talk about lots of hits to the head, not just the two he received.
I have also heard LOTS of Whining from your Philly players too
The hits to the head are a big problem and to have the BEST player in the NHL address the Issue just might be the help it needs to gets this to stop. Players are not being held accountable for their actions. the hits crosby took were heads hits, especially the hedman one
anyways I am glad to see that some players are willing to talk and get action

I think it's good that he's speaking out about headshots, and he's right that they should be eliminated. I know he'll suffer somewhat in the public eye because of his reputation as a whiner, but he's got a right to complain.
On the other hand, I also think slew footing is dangerous and Crosby is no stranger to that practice. So, I can't feel all that sorry for him more than any other player when it comes to suffering an injury.

there's no doubt right now he's the best player in the NHL, but Personally I don't think I'll ever be able to really respect him until he quits the whining and complaining, and don't take this post as me condoning head shots because there's plenty more he's complained, whined or cried about.

Only Crosby sycophants jump to Sid's defense. When Savard was upset about his concussion, Pen's fans mocked him and said he was faking, and his was much worse than this.
Hypocrites.

Maybe some did but that's an awfully big blanket you're tossing out there with that statement. The majority of hockey fans out there were pretty much in unison condemning the Cooke hit. You don't have to be a "sycophant" to side with Crosby on the issue of getting dangerous hits to the eliminated from the game.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

yeah and we can say the opposite about those that try and pour on the insults to Crosby when it really isn't warranted. He complains, you don't like it....fine. But for me? I'd rather have a vocal leader than someone that keeps their mouth shut about things they are having issues with. He's trying to get an advantage or trying to make things right. He's doing nothing different than what every NHL coach is doing when they are yelling at the ref
