Crosby said today that there is no truth to this rumor. He won't have to worry about the physical play like in the regular season.

these hits to the head have to be addressed.

They will address it 1 day, when somebody gets killed because of it,then maybe they will look at it from a different perspective!

I think the most important thing to remember is that he is playing for the penguins and not for the NHL, what I mean is his contract is for the Penguins, so to play in the all star game is not that important to the Team. He needs to be 100% health to be effective for the Penguins, so if he is not ready, he should not play in the all star.

it will be unfortunate to not see him there but he must do whats best for him and his team.
lets hope he can recover and be ready to play, either in the all star game or for the penguins.

I agree he is paid by Pittsburgh but the NHL has promoted him as the posterboy of the NHL...So unofficially and indirectly, he does owe the league....and usually will do it as he loves the game so much.....

I also agree he shouldnt play unless he is 100% - Why risk it...The game means NOTHING! I would say he should be there for the festivities but limited to what he can do without feeling any affects.......

Fans will get over it...just like the excitement of watching Gretzky against Lemieux when Kings played the Pens....but one or the other ended up being scratch due to some injury or something.....
