Boyhood collection - Not sure worth
I started collecting in the mid to late 80's and recently took my collection back from my folks who didn't want to store them anymore.
How would I go about establishing a value of all of my complete sets I have? I used to subscribe to Beckett and the collection was around $4,000 in the early 90's.
Do people still use Beckett? How would one go about selling all of them? Are cards from the 80's not worth anything anymore?
The collection mostly consists of complete sets from the 1980's (1983-1987 Donruss, 1985 Topps, 1981 Fleer, etc), some autograph Don Mattingly cards.
I looked through a Beckett a few years ago and I'm guessing these cards are probably worth 1/2 to 1/4th of the value in the early 1990's.
Thanks

There are very few cards from the 80's that are worth any money. If you want to know what they're worth, go onto ebay and see past sales of them, that is the best way to gauge current market value.
