To Sell Or Not To Sell

The company I work for got me and my twin sons tickets to see the Cardinals and the Yanks at Busch Stadium on June 11. The seats are the first row behind the Cards dugout. I am a lifelong Cards fan and my kids watch the games with me, and seeing as how this is their last season at Busch it is extra special. However, we live in NC and have to pay for airfare and a hotel, and I am short on funds so I thought about selling a grands worth of cards to cover plane tickets. I know I would regret it later because I'd love to give these cards to my kids later but this game is a must. Do you think I should sell em?
    Thanks for your input. Mike

that is definitley a hard decision i think you should sit down with your kids and ask them are you excited for the game to see there reaction if they really want to go, and if cards is your true hobby try sellling some other things have a grodge sale. hope that helps.

Thanks for the input all, I think I'm going ot have to go for the garage sell. When I traded for, bought or pulled these cards the first thing that popped in my mind was giving them to my twin boys so I'll swing something.

if you sell anything sell the game tickets i dont think a 3 hour baseball game is worth years of collecting i wish you well i hope you can sort something out.

Good luck with this. I have a one-year-old son who I'm going to hand down my collection to one day, and every time I get a good card to put in my PC, my thought is, "One more card for the little guy!" I hope you don't end up having to sell any of your collection.
