Best way to send Football/Mini Helmet?

I really want to send something bigger then a card or a picture. What's the best, inexpensive, way to send out a football or a mini helmet? Thanks in advance guys :)

When I've sent minis I bought the smallest box possible, that the helmet would fit in, and I believe I had to go to the UPS Store to get a box slightly larger without being obnoxiously oversized, to ship. I put the helmet inside what would be the return box along with a sharpie and some tape, bought the postage and put it on the box which I had pre addressed. Then, seal the outer box, address, stamp and voila.

I think it cost me like five bucks total. It is fairly inexpensive. I shipped the helmet to Nick Saban at Alabama as a Christmas gift. Got it back no problems.
