2011 SP Authentic - Hurting Lebron and Jordan Auto Prices?

I would like to get everyones thoughts on this. There is going to be AT LEAST 1 Jordan or Lebron auto per case, and possibly 2 in some cases. I think with UD putting out this many autos it is bout to hurt the value of the cards in not only this product but by flooding the market with them, it will put a little bit of a hurt on the value of all of the other autos out there from these players.

Any thoughts?

They gonna be in College/ High School uniform. I think it isn't gonna hurt much.
They didn't change the fact that "No more new MJ auto in Bulls and no Lebron auto in Heat."

For MJ, people still want his autos in Bulls more than in college uniform so the price of MJ Bulls auto will continue to be higher. (As it continue to go up recently during the past year)
Not sure about Lebron since no auto in Heat uniform ever exists yet and the price of his autos in CAVS went down since he left the team.

I think collecting college/high scholl stuffs are in different market. At least, I don't care much about them.

that's what i was thinking....and i don't like lebron altogether but man, his new auto is really ugly or at least how he signed for the last ultimate collection product

I don't think it will hurt Jordans auto prices at all seeing as he doesn't have many autos in his North Carolina uniform. I've read the product summary and there are supposed to be Jordan autos that feature a piece of the stadium floor he played on at North Carolina so I think there will be a big following for those. The other autos of Jordan are supposed to be letterman auto patches so I think people will be all over those as well.

And there are obviously going to be a ton of the letterman Jordans, but UD will make them appear to be short printed by doing a bunch of version of the card like full name or team name or college name and so on and so on. not one will be #ed more than like idk 23 but there will be a total of like 500 of them

1 Jordan or Lebron AUTO per case is still pretty rare. Im sure you could probably have close to the same odds when buying any other UD Hi-End case.

Also, not many Lebron AUTOs are out there in the High-School uni.
Anytime you have an AUTO of the greatest play ever (MJ) and the best player right now (LBJ), the cards will be worth a lot of $.

SO I dont see this effecting the prices greatly. Ive seen Lebron and Jordan AUTOs going really high from this product and Im sure they will stay that way.

Lebron's Cavs AUTOs are selling for less then the new Ultimate stuff.

They will not be in Nba uniforms and also those ugly black and white images.
