It never says a copy of a signed photo. It says a genuine copy of a 8 x 10 photograph signed by Tiger Woods. Based on the context, it should be a photograph signed by Tiger Woods.

I agree - the best approach here is to explain your confusion to the seller and see if they will let you negate the transaction. Technically, you bid on an auction and won ... this is a binding contract and you are obligated to pay even if you were mistaken.

I understand you are obligated to pay, but then how come 40% of winners in my auctions seem to never pay? (I'm not even counting in the corned beef hash backgrounds) Or maybe it's just me who gets these bidders?

That's surprising to hear .. I rarely have "NPB's" (non-paying bidder)
If this happens to you there is a process you can go through to get refunds from ebay for the fees they charge on the auction.

Yeah, I do that sometimes. If the buyer messages me with a valid excuse then I'll just cancel it so they don't get a strike. Maybe it is just me.

I know that. But I bid on it in advance and there were already a few bids on it....most likely by the sellers other accounts...

But if you don't know it's fake, is that really a problem?
