Polishgooner's Customs Thread
Started a new thread of all of my custom work. I specialize in the CFL and first up is a 1960 remake. The original design does have the circle boarder but mine is too thick and I can't make it any thinner.
So with circle boarder or without? Or maybe make it white instead?

EDIT: Just noticed I got the player wrong, that's Tony Miles not Derrell Mitchell.Last edited by Polishgooner; 01-26-2011 at 06:55 PM.

Thats a tough one. I think a thin border would be perfect.
Since you cant do that i'm stuck.......dont know what to tell you.
Maybe, if you are going to get it signed no border. If you are just making a set then put the border????

I'm planning on getting them signed. By the the way here's a new card I came up with with a signature box. I really suck at boarders so I used brick which actually doesn't look too bad. I'm just not so sure about this one almost like something is missing.

Is there any way on Photoshop to make the circle boarder thinner? See 1st post ^
Thanks

There's a couple ways. When you go in and you put the stroke around the object, click on "stroke" and another submenu will pop up. Look toward the top and drop the size of the border from 5 px (or whatever its' at) and play with it a little. a 3 px or 2px would probably look sweet.
Borders are something I struggle with a lot, too.

Another way is once you have a stroke and it is to big you can go to select, modify and then contract and put in a value and then hit delete, this will make the stroke smaller as well.
