Card Slang That I still dont know
Yes I been in this hobby for like 7 years and am still confused about some of the names of stuff. I have guesess but I dont think there right
Relic: Is this the same as a GU or Auto? They just some times say relic? I have no clue
Refractor- Have no clue- Ive seen like xfractor and stuff..™™™ is that
Parrell: Is this like differnet borders on the same card? Again I dont know lol
box Topper card: Is this like a seperate card out of its pack on the top of the other packs?
I think thats all..can someone help me?

Some refractors will have the word "REFRACTOR" on the back of the card.

box toppers are usually oversized but will definetly come with some special packaging of some type that is different to all packs
The parallel term has also been used to show the print of the cards is harder then the base
Example
I have the parallel RC card because its #/100 compared to the original #/1000

correct me if iim wrong but topps uses relic to describe any sort of game used such as bats, jerseys, pants, balls, gloves, bases, stadiums, fans. and again correct as needed but all modern refractors says refractor on the card usually near the card number. if you need to tell the difference hold a base card and the suspected refractor from the same set and you should be able to pick out the refractor with no effort at all.
