Father Son Collecting
Hello everyone, I am new to these forums. I am mostly a football card collector. I also may branch out to basketball, then baseball, but nothing else. I used to go to card shows with my dad all the time and it was a blast! I now have a young man myself, he is 5 and I thought it would be cool to start collecting together. So here I am!
I collect 49rs players new and old, as well as whoever is hot at the moment.

Welcome to SCF and make sure to take a look at our inventory manager. You can enter all your trader and personal collection in there. Make it easier to let other search your cards and can upload unlimited images per unique card. Can replace totally photobucket to display yuur best card, check how I organised my inventory by creating categories:

Of course you do not collect hockey but you can see how one can organise his card using attribute like auto, memorabilia. It's all search and click to add, no text to type the card info as we have all cards in a database for you to select from. A must to trade and organise your collection. You can also at any time create a full backup of all your items in a compatible spreadsheet format like Excel. This way you can preseve the work of entering all your cards here and keep a back up on your computer. This way the work done can't be lost if you use the backup feature and download the file on your computer.
Have fun on SCF!Last edited by CoolHandLuke; 01-27-2011 at 02:56 PM.

Welcome to SCF Charlie.
Always great to see the follow-son collection connection. My dad used to collect football cards too, and was a 49'er fan at that. ;)
We are happy to have you here and if you need any help getting around the site feel free to ask. We are happy to help.
