I understand about the database - trading in different places (especially online) can make it tough to keep track of everything. I've been really low on trading recently, so right now i'm using it to keep track of my PC - more of like a havelist for everyone to see what I already have of my two players. It does offer a download of your inventory into a CSV file, so you can easily take the list with you, which is nice.

Yes, once the OPG is up and running, you'll be able to use it like you would Beckett (except hopefully it will actually work). You can look up the value of any card that's out there, not just what you have in your own collection.

And there are no plans at all to do away with the current trade manager - this is just a separate system, so you'll be able to use that too. But that said, we don't have this linked to any trading right now, so we'll have to see what it can do when it's fully up and running. But you'll definitely be able to use the current system.

Basically you can look at the Inventory Manager, Storefront System, and OPG as an interconnected application or three separate entities.

I could go on and on about this, but hopefully that answered your questions.

See, thats perfect! I do like the OPTION of entering your cards, to keep track of PC/haves. But the cards i want to trade, i just want to look up the BV's and maintain in one place. its nice to have the site managers actually listen to their customers. Beckett obviously did not, then created perhaps the worst executed web site ever. What a train wreck they have become - and its all because they didnt listen to what the collectors wanted. Well, that and a completely incompetent IT staff from what I can tell. Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer my questions.

Its nothing new, some of their employees who hopefully are no longer employed there have a habit of taking the easy way out of things rather than the right way. I am hoping this issue has something to do with the new site and not just them repatching the old one. We've already been out 3 days without access, I'd hate to be paying for something I can't use for another 3 days. If anyone has issues with them, I'd suggest filing with the BBB online. You WILL get a response from beckett that way, although it took me a couple weeks.

I'm sure we'll do things people don't like with our system too, but since we're a much smaller operation, we definitely feel we can listen and respond to as many collectors as possible, and we're always open to suggestion.

The BBB is utterly worthless. Topps has like an F rating with them and nothing is done.

What people should do is call up Beckett and DEMAND that you get money back or something free for all the lost time and ability to use a service you are paying money for. If they do nothing then threaten to leave and cancel your subscription. Eventually they will get the message.

I beg to differ, others including myself asked for compensation for lost time in the past and such and it went ignored and declined. When I filed with the BBB at least I got some sort of compensation. Is the BBB a waste for shutting the site down, sure probably, but it got beckett's attention.

HERE IS BECKETT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE EMAIL AND PHONE NUMBER.

    800-764-6278 [email protected]

I JUST EMAILED THEM. I'M TOO ™™™™™™ RIGHT NOW 2 CALL. IT WOULD BE A BAD THING. LOL.

They never respond to emails. Terrible customer service.

My football & basketball subscription ends tonight and auto renewal is now turned off. I'm done with them after 3 years.

I will give them this though. They have an incredibly good card database. I can easily find what I'm looking for through with their search and detailed breakdown for each player.

I realized a long time ago what a waste beckett is. Havent bought a price guide in years and haven't been to the site in forever. If I have something I like, you see something you like, I just pull the trigger on the deal. I get what I want, the other gets what they want, paying for them to suggest what it's worth has become useless to me.
