    Grading services

Can anyone tell me about AGS grading service? Are they reputable? How do they rank with BGS & PSA? Thanks...

If it's not GAI, SGC, PSA or BGS, then it is definitely questionable.

I concur. Any grading service other than those are bad.

I would personally rank them (in preference):

    BGS
    PSA
    SGC
    GAI

Well, while I'm on the subject of graded cards. I'm in the market for gem condition Aikman and/or Emmitt RCs, but dont want to get taken for too much. How much should I pay? Low-Beckett? High-Beckett? Or somewhere in between?
    Thanks...

Don't touch a Beckett... look at the completed items on Ebay for cards similar to what you're looking for. That's gonna be the most accurate estimate.

i use the naxcom average when deciding how much to spend. it may not help for a lot of cards but key rookies etc.. you can find out what they have sold for most recently as well as the 52 week high and low
