Moms rule

my mom came through big time today. I live in Philly but my parents live in Scranton. I happened to be on the Internet at 5:50 pm and happen to see that Andy russel steelers all time great linebacker steel curtain 7x pro bowl at 6pm - 10 minutes later! - in the Scranton borders.

I called my mom and asked her to go get it. She dropped everything she was doing and went. Scranton isn't in steeler nation so she said it was pretty empty. Woo!

Then as if that weren't cool enough, somehow she never told me this but NFL hall of famer (I think) and Scranton native mike munchak was in her high school class! She said she's going to play the helpless woman/mom card and call or write him and say "I'm looking to get my boys a birthday present and they are both huge fans can you fond it in your heart to help an old classmate?"

So yeah, she's pretty awesome right now.

You have an awesome mom! My mom is pretty cool with the hobby as well- she hits autograph signings with me of players she like to meet them and is always an extra binder at the ballpark!
