Hand written most of the time. Typed only a small fraction.

Every single one of my letters has been handwritten. It makes it more personal, and it helps sometimes I think, especially with guys like Berra, Oscar Robertson, etc.

This has been beaten to death but I'll also indulge....

I have always handwritten my letters. I figure if somebody is generous enough to take 2 minutes out to read my letter and then do me a favor by signing the least I can do is make the extra effort and hand write it. That, and it has also led to a dramatic improvement of my handwriting. As a history major scribbling notes and notes and notes my handwriting when went all to hell. Its been 2yrs since I graduated college and I look back at some of my notebooks and just scratch my head lol.

I hate writing. My handwriting is garbage. So out of respect for the person reading the letter I type mine. I personally do not think it matters. I have tried the whole hand write a request and have had RTS on those just as much as typed letters.

Yeah but RTS doesn't matter what you did. I do believe it can make a difference with somebody who sometimes does sometimes doesn't sign who will return things in the SASE with and/or without a sig.

I type almost all of mine! It has to be easier to read for the celeb than my handwriting!
