New to SCF...collecting Nova Scotians

Hi All,

Been hearing a lot about this forum so decided to sign up yesterday. I've been trading on beckett for the last few months....I collected a lot as a kid and then got out of the hobby in my teens and twenties....back in 2005 with the emergence of the greatest hockey player in the game today...Sid the Kid....I got back into collecting hockey and have been pretty hard at it for the last 5 years....I have 2 teenagers so I am working with a limited budget but have quite a bit for trade....mostly lower to mid end stuff...

Over the past few months I have re-directed the focus of my collection a bit....I'm a wax breaker at heart and that will never change. I have started a PC on every NHL player born in Nova Scotia....with emphasis on Sid, Al Macinnis and Glen Murray....lately I have also been collecting Evander Kane (his Father is Nova Scotian and I work with his Uncle)...also I collect Ovie (it was him and Sid that brought me back to the hobby), Dion Phaneuf (one of my favourite players) and all 4 Staal bros.
