I'm a Mets fan too.
Last year, I sent to a ton of the guys...didn't have much success unless they were a reliever and most of them shipped out.
You can try Pat MISCH. He's been pitching well for the Mets AAA affiliate Buffalo Bisons and has been waiting patiently for a long term call up as the Mets have only called him up for the last two months of the season for the last 2 years. He may have been the quickest return out of my Mets' requests. He's also a nice dude if you ever get to meet him.
Try RA Dickey again. Why? He's the man, and quickly became my favorite Met last year and a great surprise return when I got his sig back on one of my customs.
Josh Hamilton. Take your time sending to him since he only seems to answer his mail during the X-Mas holidays, but make sure you do send to him at some point.
