Ranford/Fuhr Jersey Question
On the back of this card it says the jersey is from "an offical game". Does anyone know if it's from an actual NHL game or another "offical" game ie. Oldtimers Game? Was thinking of buying one, but I don't want it if the jersey's from an Oldtimers/Heroes game

If it doesn't say "official NHL game" it's probably an Oldtimers GU.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Hard to say.
I don't know much about Fuhr cards (outside of what is pictured with Ranford) but I do know Ranford's stuff pretty well :)
Upper Deck didn't make anything of Ranford that they didn't claim was Game Used before that card. All of his stuff from 'The Cup' that year says Game Used on it.
The following season, the next Edition of SPGU did use an 'NHL Legends' jersey, but it was from the previous season's Hall-of-Fame game, so they couldn't possibly have had it in house in time for use on that card.
What does that all mean? Well, not much, I guess.
If you're looking for a Ranford / Fuhr dual GU/Auto..... this one, from 07-08 OPC Premier, does say Offical NHL Game on the back (and IMO is a nicer design, plus has hard signed autos). It's just as rare (only 50 copies) and when they show up online, can be had for about the same price:

Wouldn`t an Oldtimers game fall under event used? I thought an official NHL game would be a regular game or All Star Game...

Yes it would indeed, but they may be changing their wording again so as to move beyond the stigma of "event used material" - an official game =/= an official NHL game.

Thanks for the help, I think I'll just keep an eye out for the OPC Premier card.

I don't think I've seen a Steve Shutt GU card that wasn't Teal in colour. Lol.
Why do they bother? especially Upper Deck. They produce a Bob Bourne Jersey it seems every year, and a Teal coloured Steve Shutt Jersey.
Words fail me.
