Probably an issue that they over expanded years ago here and now that people have left the state and don't need or use the post office anymore there are too many choices. I'm definitely NOT complaining about waiting in line. I love the fact that it takes no time at all to mail something but when you have a situation like that something has to be done. Something will close and jobs will be lost at probably one of the worst times it could happen.Selling all my cards here updated as of May------------> Hidden Content

I don't think he's mad about your posts. They just don't like people getting past the filter around here. I'm sure if you ask them to ban you they'd give you what you want.

Maybe they could start by not paying them so much.
My mom's friend is a carrier in a small town and she pulls $28 an hour at least. Ridiculous.

the USPS just announced today that they lost $329 million in their first quarter mostly due to the high cost of health care for their retired employees.

is it really so ridiculous to pay someone good money in order to properly deliver your important mail, bills, etc? This isn't a minimum wage job, if it was a job of lower salary people wouldn't put in the same effort, who knows where your packages might get dropped off to

Whatever they've gotta do to survive. Their bread and butter was letters, and now all they do is junk mail and packaging.

I don't think fewer letters and more junkmail and packages would effect their expenses. Its not like those two things cost less than a letter. A flat rate box takes up more space than a letter but it costs 20+ times more than a letter to ship. Unless their ratios of that cost increase for larger items that would not be the cause.
From what they posted in their first quarter, their medical expenses for retured employees is why they posted such a huge loss.
