i hate returns that take almost 700 days with nothing signed
So today i check my mail, and i havent mailed any ttm's to any baseball players lately, so i was very suprised to see a return from barry larkin, although he didnt sign 0/2 cards that were in the envelope, but why does it take almost 700 days to get it back? i'd almost rather not get it back. since ive actively started doing ttm's since around the end of 08' this is the longest retrun for anything, success or not for me( with the exception of trying frank thomas in 1991 and not getting anything back till 1995(no auto of course)
well a smile turned into a frown
i sent out to him 3/16/09
returned 2/1/11
let's hear some other stories like mine, feel free to share any and all long returns with no success

Urlacher 350+ days, returned card and 2 extras but no signature on any. It was my longest "success" (I define by receiving something back more than I sent- save your comments) until Steve Fuller saved the day---386 day success.

Mitch Richmond took like 2 1/2 years to send my request back. He had signed both of my cards and kind of got me rolling on TTM again after about a year of inactivity. When I opened the envelope and found his autos I remembered how cool it was ti get things like that in the mail. It was probly another 8 months after that when SCF became part of my collecting life and the two are a great fit together!

John Lackey - 351 days returned unsigned today. Sent c/o ST 2010. The letter said that he hoped that I enjoy the enclosed photo, but there wasn't a photo included.
