Celebrity Dinner in Halifax
Just got in from the Canadian Progress Club Halifax annual celebrity dinner.
Great lineup...Walter Gretzky, Anthony Calvillo, "Irish" Mickey Ward, Roberto Alomar and Jeremy Roenick were the guest speakers. Hosted by TSN's own Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole. These two are priceless. Very funny people. Wonderful speeches, great food. Lots of prizes given away and a great time had by all. Monies raised are for the upkeep and operation of the Kingsmeadow Home for mentally challenged adults. Great organization to give to.

Sounds like a great time - and all for a great cause! Did you manage to snap any photos or grab any signatures? Did you win any of the prizes?

Forgot my camera
(was actually working the dinner )
Did get 2 Roenick rc's signed. 1 Alomar RC signed
and everybody signed my program on their bio pages. Sweet souvenir.
