    Sending to Baseball HOFers

Hey guys. I have been working on getting the autographs of as many living Hall of Famers as I can, but have pretty much obtained all of the ones who are reliable signers TTM. I was thinking about maybe trying to guys not known for signing TTM at home (i.e. Bob Gibson, Ozzie Smith, Tom Seaver, etc.), and was just wondering if anybody has any tips that might help me to get better results with these remaining guys?
    Thanks a lot guys!

best advice i can give ya- $$$

send money and a lot of them will sign- but id send a check, that way you can trace if its been cashed, and will then likely know when/if they are signing for you

I disagree. I think if you are going to send yes check is safer but cash is way more effective.

That and I think proper address, lucky timing, and a well written LOR go a lot farther than $. I mean some guys have their set fee and thats that but for the most part I think it boils down to the other three things. Billy Williams is one exception in which $ doesn't seem to be based on set prices just a deal sweetener.
