Dog Bites Man; DiPietro Injured

The New York Islanders announced today that goaltender Rick DiPietro is expected to miss the next four to six weeks with both facial fractures and knee swelling.

he had talent, but dude it's time.
if he was gonna get hit by a puck and get injured. you shouldn't be in this league.
i'm sorry for him, tough breaks in his entire career, but i'm more tired of the headlines: DiPietro injured!

How many years does he have left on his huge contract? One punch and he's out a month, pretty ridiculous. Did the knee swelling occur as a result of the fight? Poor Islanders...
