Thanks to some advice from a certain person on this forum, I now am thinking twice about sending back the retail box to this stiff that ripped me off on Ebay. ( I payed for a Hobby box, he sends a retail box)

I don't know how to set up a Poll, so just leave a reply here:

Should I

1) Be legit, and send back the retail box to numbnuts, and see if I get any $$ back into my paypal account like they said I would. (probably a gamble)

2)Have the fleer tradition retail box-break live....then send back the empty box, and see if get my $$ back. (payback is a ™™™™™)

Either way I'm not guaranted to get the full amount back, so it's a gamble. Should I even give this meathead the satisfaction??? LMK, this should be good for a laugh.

If he has funds in his account you could absolutely get all your $ back plus get some retail packs for free.

edit: Of course, for some, this could bring up moral or ethical issues. But, I would not be one of those people. I say stick it in and break it off. You could take a polaroid of yourself opening the box and giving a hand-gesture or something that would be cool.

Heh, or keep only the good cards :) Send him back all the base in the wrappers with tape or something lol inside one of the packs you can create a special "insane irish insert" card with a special message just for him :)

I agree with bl bassist, I've kind of followed your posts on this and this guy is a prick who would screw you and then, in your words, "give you a lot of crazy talk", to justify it. Don't give him the chance. Send the box back with crap in it.

Get some shrink wrap. The kind you can shrink with a hair dryer. Open the box carefully, weigh the packs, stuff the empty box with something of the same weight(prefferably fecal matter)and send it back like it wasn`t opened. He`ll never look inside and probably relist it trying to rip someone else off? I`d feel bad for the next person who winds up opening it though. Doesn`t sound fair, but, it ain`t fair anyway. Maybe if this guy gets more than 1 complaint through PayPal, he`ll have to refund everyone in full.
