I finally received a response from Cubs spring training - Darwin Barney. and of course I had to jump on the McGwire bandwagon and got a baseball signed by Big Mac.

No...never sent to him before. He sent back my letter folded up in the envelope with the unsigned cards. I might try again. Maybe someone opened the letter instead of him.

Those national chicle look really nice. That's a great set for signatures. Topps really hits it out of the park with great designs for autograph collectors. Chicle, Ginter, T206, Heritage even the base Topps set and the Pro Debut set.
