Considering there were a handful of successes (Michael Cuddyer comes to mind) from last ST that came in this year, I would say you have plenty of time to wait. Not to mention the guys like Sabathia and Hamilton that tend to sign at the end of the season...

I was finally back on the board today with Pavano, and I expect that a lot of my ST requests are lost forever. Vlad, I'm looking at you... I did get on board the Big Mac Train, so the spring wasn't a total loss. I'm still holding out hope, I got Matt Cain back this spring from a request I sent last spring. Maybe Vladdy will sign the card I sent next spring...

I didn't really end the spring on a high note. My last letter received was my letter, card, and no auto from Jeremy Guthrie. Gotta admit though, he shut down the Rays yesterday...

Anyhow, for a first-timer, this was a good start! I got 18 letters out of 50 sent.

18/50 =36% Is that good? It's about a third...

Another question, I know sending letters to the home stadium isn't as good as ST, but will it still work? I'm 2/8 lifetime.

I think (I know I will) you should try again during the regular season. His successes have been consistent from Camden Yards but not from ST. Worth a shot and since he sent the letter back, I don't have to rewrite it.

Got a great one back today being an Astros fan. Hunter Pence C/O Astros ST. Sent 2/23/11 received 4/4/11, so about 40 days. Worth the wait. He kept one like I offered.
