Split on the double header.
1st game, Oliver pitched bad, Sox offense bailed him out, 4-3 loss when Valverde served up a meatball.
2nd game, Verlander went into straight beastmode. 7 2/3rds scoreless innings. 132 pitches and his last pitch went 100MPH, incredible. Benoit gets the last out of the 8th, Valverde closes out the nice and went dancing!
Day game tommorow, series against Minnesota, sweep would be nice

Great win! VMart & Miggy go deep, and Avila with fan interference was clutch and Papa Grande goes into automatic mode!
Penny was trash but got picked up by the offense today

Not a ton to be negative about, I've grown to understand for some dumb reason, Leyland plays Raburn no matter what. Cost Scherzer 3 runs today..

Tigers win! Offense got timely hit after timely hit, Scherzer's statline didnt look good, but he pitched much better than it indicated. Raburn still sucks, two AWFUL plays that led to 3 runs, but Alberquerque pitches the 8th, Tigers score in the bottom of the inning and Benoit shuts the door in the 9th!
Baker vs Porcello tommorow I believe
