No, its the fishing mentality
I run more people off than I sell to because the brain set is thus "If they want 10.00,they must really be willing to take 7.00 because other guys,blah,blah,blah" THat is why you see people start prices AT or slightly over ebay
My price is my price, the only budging is when people are buying 50-100.00 in cards and not just 1-2.
Put it in your sig " I sell fair, my price is what I want, not a starting point"
Will weed out those that want to play the back and forth game. Save you some headache and a lot of grief. I get in more trouble over arguing about a card I want 10.00 and guy offers 5.00 and I reply....less nice than I really should
