I got a quick question. What's the deal with the mcdonalds all american cards? The photo shoot as well as the game action sets from 2006-2008. I have seen them sell on ebay but have not seem them listed on beckett or talked about on any other websites except very briefly on here. Does it have to do with the fact that most of them have not been officially released by topps and were leaked out through the back door? Ebay listings aside what are these cards generally worth? Also do you think that another company will produce these cards anytime soon. There are currently similar sets for high school football and baseball. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've been curious about these too. I've seen the base sets for sale, but I'm not sure were the autographs are from. It sounds like they are from Topps based on Plash response. I only am curious because Samardo Samuels a rookie for the Cavs only card is his McDonald's card, there seems to be an auto variation but I've also seen the card with the auto not be auto'ed which seems strange for it to be blank. Which made me think maybe they were for a promotional event and were signed in-person. I would like to get some clarity as I maybe interested in buy an auto of his, but I would like to know for sure it is legit as he has an auto that would be easy to forge.

the autos come from topps packs, they make some that are not autoed and have a blank space also, i got a ed davis one like that. some people have 2 verisons that are not autoed
