Actually cards and actual value or stats don't really mean a lot when it comes to card prices. That's why Shawn Marion, Michael Redd, and Ray Allen cards aren't even a close second to the super stars of the league (Lebron, Kobe, T-Mac etc). Now I'm in no way saying those three are as good but they are pretty studly. Card values are just very fickle in that certain guys bump up a bit.

In a way, this is true. He owns the Lakers now, that's why they suck.

They are both great players, great creators, and great ball hoggggggggggs. Jacking up 30 plus shots a night. Go Kobe! I have seen Kobe hit more clutch game on-the-line shots. However, I am bias. Go Kobe!

Personally, I'm not a fan of either.
I think Kobe's cards are worth more b/c: 1. He is in L.A. 2. He has (had) endorsements 3. He is a flashier player (Iverson can't dunk)
Although I don't collect either, I like Kobe better as a player, mainly because he is a better shooter (look at their career numbers for FG% 3PT% and FT%- Kobe is way better in all categories.)

Yeah, I don't understand that one. When Iverson played at Georgetown he could throw it down with the best of them.

there a number of reasons for kobe being priced higher, hes been in more big time games and finals with the lakers and has hit more big shots in the clutch, he won the dunk contest which makes anyones cards jump, he rarely HAD bad publicity until last year of course, he was hyped to be to be the next 'jordan' which also helps, it all adds up in time
