Pat Venditte - what an oddity!!!!!!!
Got an oddity for ya here, probably a lot of you are already aware of Pat Venditte, a pitcher in the Yankee system who they say has a legit shot at the major leagues.
He pitches with BOTH arms, and can go back and forth at will. He wears a 6-fingered glove so that he can switch no problem in the same inning.
His dad started him doing this when he was 3 years old, and he also can punt a football with either foot.
I thought it would be neat to have two cards of him, one throwing righty and one throwing lefty. The card of him throwing lefty is a chrome card so the defects that appear to be there (vertical lines) are really not there, its my scanner as always having problems with chrome cards. Anyway, i think this guy is really neat, and right now his cards are still in-expensive, so i figured it was the time to get them in case he makes it to the majors in a year or two, then his cards will get expensive due to him being such an oddity.
I lucked out that this guy is in the Yankee system.

I think there is an Obak card that pictures him pitching both ways if you are interested.
There are lots of reasons to collect a player...this is as good a reason as any!

Yes there is an Obak card that shows him both ways, but i wasnt crazy about the way it looked, so i went with these two cards. Whatever, he sure is a neat guy to have cards of.
