I never send more than 2, and i send 2 on rare occasions usually when I really like a person or I have many items of them.

I send 1 or 2 or even 3 sometimes, but never more than 3! It seems to me that it is rude to mail more than that. I did used to send more to Rick Smits, but that was due to the fact his daughter collected his cards and I would ask for one or two to get signed and add any odd ball or numbered cards I found in another envelope inside my large mailer that was not sealed and had for your daughter on the outside.

When I was younger, I've sent upwards of 4 cards before. Nowadays, I limit myself to just 2 as the maximum, with the exception of the MMA fighters who I send a max of 3 since most of them are really cool about signing multiples.

this is a topic on another site.i usually send 2 cards or 1 ball,it baffles me though with some of the amounts that are being sent.i've seen as many as 17 cards sent at one time,or the guy who sent bobby doerr 9 index cards, what could you possibly need 17 cards or 9 index cards for?what i came across recently is another topic for discussion, one guy has mailed to mr doerr on 17 different occassions with as many as 6 items with each mailing!crazy!!!!!!

I usually don't send anymore than 3. I think if you send more your being a bit greedy. If these guys start getting requests for 5 of more and keep seeing there signed cards on Ebay they will eventually stop signing. I have been watching SCN and have seen a trend in longer waits that seem to be slowing to an all together stopping of signing... soo..

How long did he take for you to get? I just got one back last year. Took 7 years!

It took a few weeks. Like I said before, I sent 8 and asked for 2 back. I did not expect all 8 to come back.

9 out of 10 times I send one. Once in a while I send two.

That said I will send multiple times. That however is an entirely separate topic.

I send no more than 3 custom cards and/or 2 custom 8x10s. However, I always let them know that I made an extra for them to keep. The older players will usually keep one (they must like some of my custom logos, I don't know...).
