I believe the easiest way to identify a pack pulled '72 auto from a scan is that the player's name on the front is in gold.

Like Coolhandluke said earlier the gold are not always pack pulled as people had them sign in person or through the mail with the gold pen also.

The 21 Ipulled from packs are in gold and have the fingerprint swirls on the cards while the other 2 gold autos do not have the swirls

I meant the font color of the player's last name, not the autograph.
